Awakening Conscience Through Timeless Wisdom

Sri Atma Sakshi — meaning "the Soul as Witness" — was founded on the sacred principle that every human being carries within them an eternal witness consciousness: the Atman. Our mission is to help individuals recognize, awaken, and abide in this inner witness.

Drawing from the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita, Advaita Vedanta, and the living wisdom of realized masters, we offer teachings that are both deeply rooted in tradition and meaningfully applicable to modern life.

Satyam — Truthfulness in all aspects of life
Ahimsa — Non-harm in thought, word, and deed
Viveka — Discriminative wisdom between real and unreal
Vairagya — Detachment rooted in love, not aversion

The Witness Consciousness

At the heart of all our teachings is a single, transformative insight.

01

Tat Tvam Asi

"Thou Art That" — the recognition that the individual self (Jiva) is not separate from the universal consciousness (Brahman). This Mahavakya from the Chandogya Upanishad is the foundational insight of non-dual Vedanta.

02

Neti, Neti

"Not this, not this" — the method of negating everything that the self is not, until only the pure witness remains. This radical inquiry dissolves false identification and reveals the eternal nature of consciousness.

03

Sakshi Bhava

The "attitude of the witness" — learning to observe thoughts, emotions, and experiences without identification. This is the practical heart of our teaching: cultivating the witness at every moment of life.
